Establish Direction Before Entering a Confined Route
The track motors, sprockets, idlers and blade give the operator a fixed reference on the lower frame. Identify the manufacturer's forward reference, then compare it with the upper structure's orientation. Turning the upper structure changes the operator's view of track movement.
As a named example, the Kubota KX040-4 manual, printed page 31, identifies its forward orientation using the front idler and blade. That is a model-specific diagram, not a control instruction for every QS configuration.
